My favorite music is Neo-Soul, and Old-School R&B/Rap. My favorite movie is The Color Purple. Politically, I’m in the middle. I consider myself an Independent, but I did vote Democratic in the last election because the issues I care most about are at least on their radar. But, I am under no illusion that the Democratic Party is any more of a “friend” to black Americans than the GOP.
Ultra liberals and ultra conservatives equally get on my nerves and irritate me. I believe that the truth, and solutions to our problems, are to be found closer to the middle.
